Case & Coldroom Controller
Honeywell’s Tuscan Plus enhanced display case and coldroom
application package combines the Tuscan universal
refrigeration controller, the display and up to 5
temperature probes. Tuscan Plus has been developed as
an all-in-one control package to monitor and control a
wide range of Mechanical Valve (TEV) or Electronic Valve
(EEV) cases and coldrooms. Tuscan Plus communicates
with Honeywell’s GenusŪ network as standard or can
operate in ‘stand alone’ mode. Defrost and case
lighting controls are part of the feature set.
The new Infrared
Display with remote control capability provides temperature and status
information including alarm messages. The display can be used as a simple tool
to access service information and edit operating parameters.
The Tuscan controller
can be connected to the Honeywell GenusŪ Network and can be set to receive
defrost initiation, case lighting and nightblind control from the central
Honeywell Supervisor unit. An optional logging probe can be used to simulate
the food temperature.
The controller is
simple to configure with easily accessed bit switches. A hand-held Set-up Unit
is available to enable the parameters to be set or edited.
Alarm conditions are
detected by the controller and reported on the display and over the network to
in-store consoles or PCs running Honeywell Central Station Software.
